To stay positive, be aware of your thoughts


Being and staying positive is much easier when we are aware of our thoughts. At the beginning, this might be a tough and difficult task to achieve, but with time it will become easier to observe your thoughts and take control over your thinking process. Ultimately, there should be no thoughts left unobserved.

What to do to stay positive?

  • Observe your thinking process.
  • Concentrate on the positive thoughts in your mind.
  • Dismiss the negative thoughts.
  • Try to think in positive terms as often as you can.
  • Inspect your predominant thoughts often – encourage the positive and let go of the negative ones.
  • Keep a thought journal. This way you would know exactly what triggers your negative thoughts and how to prevent it in the future.
