Staying positive in a negative situation is not an easy thing to do. Here are some quick tips for you to follow:

  2. Give yourself time. Time will give you the strength and the abilities required to retrieve your positive self-talk. Let time pass. Be patient.
  3. Relax, accept the situation and your current state of mood. Accepting is vital if you want to move on from there and then make whatever changes you desire.
  4. Slowly engage in positive thinking. Encourage positive thoughts by staying open to new ideas, suggestions and interpretations of the situation.
