Four coping thoughts to motivate you to take action


  • How long am I going to wait? What am I really waiting for? Why not take action now?
  • Is there any reason in particular that prevents me from taking action now? Despite my fears? Is there any other reason?
  • How long am I going to sit here and, while doing so, watch my life pass before my eyes? Do I really want to let my fears ruin my life? Am I going to let them stop me from taking action and following my dreams? Is it really worth waiting and not taking action?
  • My fears will not stop me from taking action! Fearful or not, I am taking action now! Since I do not want to waste my life in fear, I am taking action now!
