Too often we focus our attention on our weaknesses, and this makes us feel sad and down. Our perception plays a central role in our happiness, and it also affects our feelings of self-worth. If we want to have better self-talk and thus feel better about ourselves, we should simply focus on our strengths instead of weaknesses. This will make our self-esteem go up, and feelings of self-worth would then naturally come to us.

Quick tip!

For better self-talk, focus on your strengths. Each day, remind yourself of all the good qualities that you possess. Think only in positive terms when it comes to your abilities. This will have a positive effect on your self-esteem and on your life as a whole.
