When dealing with negative thoughts, it is very important to realize that they are not facts and do not represent the truth. The negative thoughts that reside in our minds are just that: thoughts! Challenging our negative thoughts is a key factor to not falling into the trap of believing them.

Always challenge your negative thoughts. This will make you see the whole picture,  help you feel better and encourage positive thinking. Ask yourself the following questions: Is this really the truth? Is this thought telling me the whole truth? Are there any other examples contrary to that thought? Is it true that each and every single time what is suggested by the thought happens?
